G-RANK started as a rankings model built in a spreadsheet — Vegas win totals, positional scarcity, and a lot of manual tuning, turned into a weekly set of numbers for every fantasy-relevant player in the league. The site grew from there: Start/Sit, a Trade Calculator, a way to build and track your own roster.
This blog is the next piece. The rankings table can tell you where a player sits. It can't easily tell you why — why a rookie WR jumped fifteen spots after one game, why a "buy low" candidate might actually be priced correctly, or how the model thinks about a trade that looks lopsided on the surface but isn't.
That's what this space is for: shorter breakdowns of the reasoning behind the rankings, notes on players worth watching, and trade advice grounded in the same model that powers the rest of the site — not just hot takes.
