Buy Low: J.K. Dobbins

Sean Payton took back over playcalling duties against the Chargers on Sunday, and we saw some consolidation in rushing work. Dobbins got the most opportunities he's had this season (20) on the highest snap share (52%) with R.J. Harvey carrying the ball only 3 times for 7 yards. I still don't trust Sean Payton to give any individual RB significant work, but the Broncos have an incredible RB schedule starting Week 9 (Carolina, Vegas, Pittsburgh, Miami, NYJ, Vegas, Buffalo, New England). I think there's a buy window here for a volume RB2/3 who won't cost you too much, and he'd be a player I'd target if desperate for depth.

Sell High: Jaylen Warren

I'm in no way predicting Jaylen Warren is going to fall off considerably this year, but I do think we've reached the pinnacle of his market value, and fantasy football is about knowing when to cash out. He's played 90%, 97%, and 87% of snaps the last 3 weeks, and while he's looked incredibly explosive, the utilization is going to come back down to earth with Rico Dowdle back in the mix. My guess is Warren continues to get most of the work, but I don't see him as a top 7 RB rest-of-season. I would try to move up a tier at RB before Dowdle returns.

Buy Low: Saquon Barkley

It probably doesn't cost very much to acquire Saquon Barkley if you're willing to be patient. Assuming he can come back healthy within the next 2 weeks, he's got Carolina, Dallas, Washington, NYG, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Arizona, and Indianapolis before the fantasy playoffs. That's a "get right" stretch for an Eagles offense that has had all kinds of struggles. A desperate manager might be willing to take Ollie Gordon or Aaron Jones, and that's a move I'd make.

Sell High: Aaron Jones

This one's pretty straightforward, and it comes down to Jordan Mason (who split carries with Jones in week 1) likely coming back into the mix after the bye. At 32 years old, Jones is getting >80% of snaps, and while it's leading to successful fantasy outings, I view those as unsustainable. Your league-mates might see what you're doing, but I'd try to make a move before week 7, especially if someone else is RB-needy.

Buy Low: Chase Brown

I'm not saying I believe Chase Brown is all of a sudden going to become a prolific rusher, but I do believe you can capitalize on the general panic right now. We just saw Brown and Perine effectively split carries in week 5, and while that does paint a somewhat concerning picture, I still believe this team views Brown as their bell-cow, particularly in the receiving game where he generates a majority of his value. If you were able to move Skattebo, Love, or Tuten to acquire Chase Brown right now, I would do it. I still want pieces of this Bengals offense for rest-of-season.

Sell High: Christian McCaffrey

It feels weird to say for a guy who's gotten in the endzone 5 times this year on a 5-0 team, but I have a lingering feeling that it might be time to get out of CMC. His utilization in the passing game has been OK, and he hasn't had a game with more than 15 carries this year (after logging 12 last season). Clearly the 49ers are managing his workload with Kaelon Black as a sufficient 2nd option, and I think the fact that he's gotten in the endzone has masked the decline in work for most fantasy managers. If you moved him for a comparable RB (Jeanty, Cook) + a depth piece, I think it might be a good move at this juncture.
