QB: Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

G-RANK Week 5: QB4

Jared Goff is quietly the QB4 on the year even though he's not the most mobile quarterback in the world. Lucky for his fantasy outlook, the Lions' abysmal defense is keeping him busy, and the Detroit/Arizona game figures to be one of the highest scoring affairs of the weekend. The Cardinals are giving up the 5th most fantasy points to QBs, setting up Goff for another monster outing. I'd play him with confidence.

RB: D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears

G-RANK Week 5: RB7

Even though he missed practice on Wednesday with a knee injury, Swift should be good to go for Sunday's contest against Green Bay. The Packers trail only the Saints in points allowed per game to the running back position. Add to that, Kyle Monangai was ruled out of Sunday's contest with turf toe, meaning Swift should be getting 70% or more of the carries after ceding a lot of the work to Monangai last week. Swift should be about as good of a start as they come at RB.

WR: Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

G-RANK Week 5: WR12

Yes, he's been a bit hit-or-miss, and I think Adams' outlook should be tempered with Puka Nacua in the lineup, but that's not stopping me from playing him with confidence this week. The Bills are giving up the 4th most fantasy points per game to the WR position and just allowed Drake Maye to get right in week 4. I expect Stafford to throw the ball a ton and Adams to be a beneficiary in a high-scoring MNF game.

TE: Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

G-RANK Week 5: TE8

I hope you didn't forget about Goedert, because he's back. The last full game we saw him on the field featured a 21.7-point performance against Washington in week 1. Now obviously, the Philadelphia offense has been struggling immensely since, but they're going to need to get Goedert involved against Jacksonville with DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley ruled out. Don't be surprised if Goedert gets 10+ targets in his first week back, even if Philadelphia loses this game.
