QB: Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

G-RANK Week 3: QB5

The NFL leader in passing yards through 2 weeks of the season is a start-able asset on a weekly basis moving forward. The matchup against the Raiders is so-so, but the way Kellen Moore wants to push the ball with pace makes Shough relatively matchup proof. Start him with confidence until he proves otherwise.

RB: David Montgomery, Houston Texans

G-RANK Week 3: RB20

It might feel scary starting a guy who could only muster 10 rushing yards against the Bengals last week, but I'm going back to the well. I think the Texans get right this week and pull of a win, and the Colts have been one of the most porous defenses against RBs through 2 weeks. I'm still monitoring the snap split with Woody Marks, but Monty should be a fine play this week.

WR: Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

G-RANK Week 3: WR24

Davante Adams is currently my WR24, but if Puka Nacua misses another week, he probably creeps up closer to top 10. Last week, we saw what we could do as the WR1 in this offense, posting 195 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. The matchup against Denver is mediocre, but it doesn't matter. Start him.

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

G-RANK Week 3: TE5

If you started Kittle last week, you were handsomely rewarded with an 80-yard performance that included a trip to the endzone. Kittle is still ramping into mid-season form, but it's clear Brock Purdy loves him as a redzone target still, and the injuries to Stribling and Robinson means he'll be on the field even more than originally expected.
