Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

Here are Kyren Williams' last 3 fantasy football season finishes: RB6, RB7, RB9. He's quietly been a very safe pick at RB, even with Blake Corum starting to earn more of a role. FWIW, I expect Corum to have ~35% of the rushing work, and Williams still grades out as a top 15 back in my rankings. That's how good I expect the Rams to be this year, and if you really need a running back in the early 3rd round, he's a lot better than the options you'll get if you wait until the late 4th.
Breece Hall, New York Jets
ADP: RB17
This is a much better pick than most people think. Breece Hall has never lacked for talent in New York - the situation has been what's held him back, and he dealt with mobile QB Justin Fields last year who kept him from what I believe is a very high receiving floor. Breece Hall was the RB4 in 2023 with 95 targets, something I think we could see again with Geno under center. And even at RB17, it's not like you're drafting him at his ceiling (he finished RB18 last year and RB17 the year before). If you believe in even the slightest upgrade in his situation, this is a good pick.
Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys
ADP: RB16
I'll admit it, this is one where I'm going against the book a bit - I technically have Javonte ranked in the 4th round. However, I think he represents the end of a mini tier of running backs and is worth reaching on in this spot if you're needy at the position. My only gripes here are how many "outs" you have - he doesn't catch a ton of passes, and Dallas is a bit more pass reliant, so you're banking on double digit TDs again. Not impossible, but worth being cautious of. But if Javonte is my RB2, I feel pretty good, especially with the options that tend to be available at WR in RDs 4-5
