A.J. Brown, New England Patriots

I'd normally feel like I'm cheating with a flag plant on a 2nd round player, but given I'm 7 spots higher than overall ADP right now, I don't feel bad. A.J. Brown is going in the late 2nd round, but I think he's a guy worth consideration closer to the 1/2 turn, especially in full PPR or 3 WR leagues. Brown joins Drake Maye in New England as the undisputed WR1 for an offense that threw for 4,400+ yards last year. While 2025 felt like a down year, he still finished as the WR11 and is only going WR8 in drafts despite the vastly improved situation.

Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

I don't love that I've flag planted 2 Jets (Breece Hall was on my RB list), but when the public is going to disrespect 2 extremely talented players this much, I have to. There's a legitimate chance Garrett Wilson, who's currently a mid-4th round draft pick, leads the NFL in target share this season. Omar Cooper Jr. has been non-existent in pre-season chatter, and Adonai Mitchell is the only other wideout threatening any volume. Wilson is setting himself up to be Geno Smith's favorite target by a long shot, and even though the TDs might be there, the heavy utilization on a team that will be trailing often will work wonders for fantasy.

Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

If you want an indication as to whether or not the Rams believe Adams has aged out, look at the depth chart. It's Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and a ton of TEs. He's going to be on the field plenty, and what most people don't realize is he doesn't need that many targets to pay off at a WR25 price. Adams caught just 60 passes last year but finished as the WR9 in only 14 games. His redzone utilization was elite (14 TDs), and I don't expect that to change. When L.A. gets near the goal-line, the 3-yard fade to Davante Adams is one of the team's favorite plays, and it should continue to pay dividends for fantasy managers.
